ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED THE MAT, GREET THE INSTRUCTOR AND YOUR FELLOW TRAINING PARTNERS
DO NOT INTERRUPT THE INSTRUCTOR OR TALK DURING CLASS
DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT "BEING TIRED" OR "FATIGUE", THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE
PRACTICE YOUR DEFICIENCIES
DO NOT RESIST A SUBMISSION DUE TO "PRIDE"
IF YOU LOST... TRY AGAIN
IF YOU WON... RESPECT
Always show respect to the gym staff, your instructors, and your training partners.
Never seek to physically harm your fellow training partners by cranking a submission harder than necessary to make them tap, or even choking them longer than necessary after a submission. In order for you and your partner to make the most out of every class and consequently improve your technique, conditioning, and fighting skills, always take every training session extremely serious!
Develop and maintain excellent personal hygiene habits.
Wash your training apparel (gi, shorts, rash guard, mouthpiece) regularly, take regular showers, use deodorant, brush your teeth frequently, and always keep your nails short and clean. If you have long hair, please make sure you secure it properly so that it does not interfere with training.
